| | | MacIntosh is a refreshingly new adaptation of the Arts and Crafts design. Although the styling is simple, the pleasing visual appeal is developed through the soft subtle shaping of the wood. Crafted in solid ash with oak veneers, the slight tapering of the corner posts is almost unnoticeable without careful observation. The emphasis is on simplicity and utility, both characteristics of the arts and crafts era. As a side note, MacIntosh was a Swedish architect that utilized the simple straight lines in his buildings.
